Your Own Yoga
Yin yoga is a gentle, calming & restorative practice accessible to all with the support of props to support the body in releasing tension, blockages and elongating deeper connective tissues such as the ligaments and fascia. My intention is to guide participants into a self empowered yin yoga practice. To encourage participants to curiously observe, notice and explore their edges of comfort. Listening to their bodies as and when they feel they can. To build inner resilience, self compassion and patience for body and mind. Guiding the nervous system back to equilibrium, rest and digest.
We tend to live in a fast paced world, more "yang" some might say. Within this practice I invite participants to step into a “less is more” approach leaving behind old doctrines of “no pain no gain”.
